Another poll worker posted today that in their area they are allowed to ask them to pull mask down to verify, but yeah, I agree with you. It's going to be problematic.
I imagine Karens would be torn between the feeling of wearing a mask, and the feeling of smug importance they would feel after proving themselves correct as the person on the ID
