I've walked into every store in Cali without a mask. Ignore and keep walking. Their objections disappear the fuller your cart gets.

I did the same at wal-mart today. Walking in the people counter lady at the door said, “Put on your mask please, sir.” I replied, as I passed, “Don’t have one,” and kept walking. Nothing happened.

Headphones with or without music and medical conditions work as well. Iv been using both. I dont listen to the music because i want to hear whats going on around me. And then other times I just walk right in and dont give a shit what they say, it depends on my mood.

Oh ya me too but now all of a sudden there is a no mask no service rule at a lot of places. So far I just walk in and tell them I forgot.

Many have to, and I feel for the already struggling mom and pops that are forced to post signs and enforce rules against customers out of fear of being fined by the state. No sympathy for the chains, especially Costco.

Say you have a medical issue and by law they must accommodate! Hippa stops them from knowing more! Bam!

Still got a right to refuse service

At least in CA, people with certain health conditions (presumably those that a mask would worsen or threaten, nothing is specified) are exempt from wearing masks.

So saying you've got a medical issue is a legitimate excuse in CA.

They can refuse entry but they can’t refuse service if you have a medical condition. They have to serve you on the sidewalk. So make them suffer for it (the manager, not the poor salesperson caught in the middle). Give them a list a mile long, send back for other brands, change your mind, drag it out. Go often.

Yes they do. But ironically they don't tell you to leave after your cart is full.

Discrimination against disabled persons is a fine of $75,000 to my understanding. If I were to get kicked out for not wearing a mask because of my breathing issues I would say thats pretty discriminative.

Yesterday I walked into Buffalo Wild Wings to pickup dinner for my family after a 10 hour drive back from the in-laws. One of the servers there asked me, “Sir do you own a mask?” I just smiled back and politely said, “No I have severe asthma, can’t wear one sorry.” The guy just got real nervous and started apologizing to me that he had to ask everyone, blah, blah, blah. Point is because of HIPPA laws stores can’t ask to see your medical history or discriminate against you because of it.

Don’t want to wear a mask? Simple tell them you have a medical condition that prevents you from wearing one and they can’t do shit.

Up until yesterday I worked at Staples. Never stopped a soul from coming into the store. Until LP wasn't wearing a mask when they came in and we got chewed out for not following regulations about it.
