Keeping maximum separation between your family and dangerous, violent people, is an absolutely necessary priority. You love them; their safety overrules everything.
As it’s already been said, call the police first and gave a report filed. Then with the police have them issue a cease and desist order against the nutjob who called you and your son that vulgar term: state to the police that with how the man intimidated you and your child and displayed a threatening tone along with a desire to cause bodily harm, you are very afraid of your livelihood and for your family.
Don’t be a coward; fight back with action as suggested above; moving away from the incident solves absolutely nothing but will allow the black hating man the victory he badly wants to see you and your family leave when in reality and truth you all are the victims of harassment; NOT him; I suggest you let the police know the black man is being racist and discriminatory as well; learn to use their owns words AGAINST them each and every day.
As a President Trump supporter with some mental illness (and as someone who works in inpatient mental health care) I really think we need some serious mental health reform in this country.
Most recently I had a patient who is a registered sex offender. During a full blown schizophrenic episode he grabbed the breast of a female first responder who was trying to help him. He was then charged with sexual assault. He had to register for 10 years, and he’s almost done with that; but because of it he has limited access to public housing and a lot of other issues on top of his (at times) debilitating schizophrenia.
A good lawyer probably could have helped him with this, but hiring and retaining a good lawyer is next to impossible for him to do on his own.
Op- file a police report so you have a record of this. If it happens again file another police report. This is building case for you if god forbid you have to take lethal measure. Sorry that he put you in that spot with your child.
