Going to be chambered in 5.56 but I'm not sure which one will be "better". The gun will only be used for home defense as I already have a fun-gun. I went 11.5" for my 556 as it suppresses better than the shorter barrels, if nothing else cut the difference and go 10/10.5".
However, if you want shorter I'd go 300bo as it suppresses very well down to like 4".
