Happy Sunday Gunday, pedes! I, like many others, have been wanting to buy a gun for quite some time but always pushed it back because I felt safe enough that I didn't need it. That has recently changed and I would love some recommendations from you all on what a good first gun would be to protect a household. I've been leaning towards a Mossberg 88, but let me know what you all think.

Absolutely, where I live, there are an abundance of ranges that I have been to numerous times with friends. I plan on going there regularly after I purchase the gun.
