thedonald can't be held to account for stuff on those other sites if they purchase their own domain and maintain their own systems. The only thing thedonald provides at that point is source code and authentication services and can't be forced to remove/maintain content on all the other places.

Don't the same admins control who's on the "web ring"? So it's not really completely separate if that's true.
Also, why not just make it a "platform" and allow anything so long as it's legal? Hell it's not like 230 has ever been enforced anyway.
