I'm a legal immigrant to this great country. Growing up in a literal shit-hole country, I always dreamed of coming to the USA. I envied the freedom and endless opportunity this land provides to its children. I struggled and worked hard to get here.
But when I got here, I found I could not express my love for this country without being labeled "right wing". That makes no sense to me.
This seems like the only place on the Internet where I can express my love for this country unabashedly so I'm screaming it here!!!
If the shining city on the hill goes dark, where does the rest of the world get its inspiration?
We need to protect this nation and everything it stands for - freedom, equality, and fraternity.
