0800 on a Sunday means two duty sections were on board. Duty section turnover is at 0800 on the weekends. Other DC personal from other ships as well as base FF were probably there in a matter of minutes. Be safe shipmates.

That was my first thought as a former Fire Marshal on-board a Destroyer. You've got backup all over, and like you said two whole duty sections.
This all makes it strange that they'd take so long to get it under control, doesn't it?
