Right, we divert the firemain, but, never to my recollection take it fully offline. I read it wasnt an MER or AUX space so Halon is a no go in this case.
Yea, fire pumps should be still good unless divers in an area. You'd still be able to get water to the area. They being able to handle aircraft and LCACs, should have AFFF sprinklers and deck nozzles in that area. Just a lot variables in play.
Prior DC here off of DDG-96. Wouldn't you think they would have had a system activated? AFFF at least.
