I mean, the jets I fly on for the AF are pretty high profile, and in the recent past someone drove a truck into one and it was questionable at the time whether it would ever fly again.

That could make for a very nasty sounding headline, and very concerning if you wanted it to be.

The fact of the matter is that a maintenance guy accidentally let it idle into it, it was a complete accident, and it's flying again today no problem. High profile accidents do happen, especially in the military where everything is mega expensive.
