The bashing of mentally disabled people here really breaks my heart. I have a son with Down Syndrome that is right about many things, and not by accident. He's a patriot, and he'd be your best friend if you'd allow it. Outside of being mean spirited, it's is an intellectually weak way of trying to get your point across.

That said, what you're describing is mentioned repeatedly in the Bible. One example is Isaiah 5:20-21:

Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and shrewd in their own sight!

I think in this current age the word "retard" no longer refers to someone who is mentally disabled.

I have never once in my life referred to someone who was mentally disabled as a "retard" but I think I call intentionally stupid people (like democrats) retards on an hourly basis. I think this is the general usage that is being employed in the comments here.

Your son is not retarded, he has Down's Syndrome. He is compassionate and passionate about things and people he loves and is ten time times smarter than any liberal, tell him to Maga on...
