I like how this is coming up now... despite this being made known months ago... and me posting it here months ago.

It's not about the glory pede. I have had the same experience. Some of us are ahead of others. Things really take off when a trusted source/publication catches on and shares. Doesn't mean that you can't be their source or inspiration to research deeper.

I'm not breaking this up about glory.

Just about facts being there long ago.

Whether we want to admit it or not, we're all made ADHD with social media and the media cycle.

I have folks at work who don't even know why we originally locked down. IT WAS TO FLATTEN THE CURVE, which flattened before we started locking down.

Yeah, moving the goalposts is a common technique that people aren't even aware that happens. Getting the word out unfortunately means repeating it too.

I had a Covid testing thing I brought up that went nowhere on this board. I had a guy see my post and ask if he could repost the info. He made up a whole meme graphic and it ended up getting stickied.

So sometimes its not the info, but how it is packaged. I keep that guy close if I ever find out good info I want to share as I know he is good at marketing it and making it a good meme.

It's all about info.

I hate sales.

Facts > Feelings, almost always (personal relationships, feelings > facts most of the time)

Is it that everybody has ADHD, of that people do not have infinite time to catch every last post that comes across every board since ever and read every link that is in every board since ever? Don’t be so butt mad a few people missed your post. Go talk to your mom if you are that starved for attention.

Here's what I think:

Everyone scrolls through social media.

They read headlines and memes.

They care not for facts.

Whether they're involved or not, the headlines and memes cement into the minds of people as reality.

This is why anyone to the right of Mao has been purged. To ensure the programming.

Are you aware you're being conditioned the same way? Do you source what you see? Or does a meme convince you/confirm your bias?

Facts are facts. Nobody gives a shit about facts. They only care for short term comfort.

I've been sending that study to people for months as well, and I have posted it in comments here a few times over the last few months. Just spread the word and let people pull their heads out of their asses at their own pace.

I'm losing patience. I've been trying to use reason and facts for a decade now.

My former friends are all lost. The ones that didn't turn to drugs have seemingly all become "gender fluid" types.

A lot of us knew from Day 01, when it first hit the news. George Webb was all over it so they completely deleted his Youtube account with over 4000 videos.

I followed him for a while, I'm surprised he didn't join our club of "unpersoned" sooner

A lot of people like myself were not here months ago, thanks for posting that link.

Gotta keep spreading the truth.

Share it far and wide, please. And point out the date of it (the study itself, 2005)

Will do my friend.

Because it was the NIH and now people want to say it was Fauci himself even though he did not say that himself.

It was his department.

Basically, my biggest gripe with the civilian world, is the issue here.

People have NO FUCKING IDEA WHAT THE FUCK IS ACTUALLY GOING ON.

He knew. He had to.

But my experience in the civilian world, 12 years running, is that people like to manage from a distance and have ZERO CLUE on what's actually happening day to day.

When a manager fails to manage their people? You punish the guy they failed to manage.

Sure, there are some cases where that's not true but 12 years of working in retail, kitchens, and manufacturing have PROVEN TO ME that the only standards in the civilian world are those you gotta call the gas company for to make sure you dig that low.

Sure, but he never made any comments on it back then, so he has plausible deniability. We should be framing it in the way you just said, that he must have known. These new articles are making a bigger implication rather than just saying it's something that he should have known and probably did.

You do not understand how research works. If it was in his department, he had complete knowledge of what the results were. He may not have performed the work himself, but he was in the know and would have made critiques of the study and what would make it more powerful. I did research and that is how departments work. Everyone meets and gives updates on their data and all the other phd's, md's, etc ask questions and offer critiques.
