Bruh, he's weaponized autism if I've ever seen it. He's like 150lbs soaking wet but he could drop an entire room full of bad guys in seconds with his gun skills. He's absolutely incredible at shooting.
I see the only damage to the crow is a clipped wing, I guess black lives do matter lol. Yeah, pardon my ignorance of guns, but I personally LOVE my Glock 17, I’m sure there’s many cooler guns out there that folks prefer, and for the overtly cautious, not a great safety, but I absolutely love it, so smooth, what a wonderful handgun. Just got a Sig P365 that I haven’t fired yet, it seems really nice too for a subcompact, and it makes my Swiss g/f and her dad happy :)
I like the 17 as it doesn't try to climb out of your hands. I have heard from many that the .40 is hard to control and I take their words for it. See if the P365 impresses you. Sig is closing up shop in Germany and coming to America.
If that's really your first time shooting a .40 Glock, you are ahead of the curve. You seem in control and relaxed. Keep that attitude of being in control.
Don't worry, might be even shorter than you think lmao.
After my first time at the range, I ended up buying a gun myself simply because I couldn't help it. Boy was my first time with my gun at the range incredibly fun.
Anyone who doesn't like guns, honestly just hasn't gone shooting for fun.
Cultivate your friends so that you can try a bunch of things and see what you like. Else rent them at the range. The best way to avoid buyer's remorse.
Good on you. I mostly agree. Have fun and get a good ccw class. Everyone is going to have different needs and preference, and one of the most important things is to find what fits you best. Make sure you get a good ccw class and if you're going to conceal carry (or open carry) get a good holster that you can wear all day
Don't let yourself get disheartened by bad groups when your first start. It took me about a dozen trips to the range until I was decent with a pistol. I Don't Think Most People Know How Hard It Is To Shoot One Accurately!!!
You also need the different ejector hunk of metal since the case is smaller, otherwise it won't eject 9mm properly.
I can take it apart and put a Glock back together with my eyes closed (having built a Polymer80 or two) but have a gunsmith make that change until you are used to full disassembly and reassembly.
You're not doing a bad job at all. You should see some of the students that I have come through my class (think: grandma). Flinch, shot goes into the dirt.
A good way to practice is, MAKE SURE YOUR GUN IS CLEAR.
When you're finished make sure your gun is clear.
Finally, make sure your gun is clear.
Now, aim at a point on the wall, like a light switch, doorknob, or something, and pull the trigger.
The trigger will "click" as if firing, but it won't reset. You don't need it to.
Now, get in your stance with a proper grip.
Focus on that spot on the wall again and continue to aim at it while you work the trigger, doing your best to not move the gun off the spot on the wall. Just focus on working the trigger smoothly and keeping the sights lined up on target.
That will give you the muscle memory of the basic process absent any recoil. You won't be worried about the shot, you'll just keep working on follow-through and trying to keep the gun steady as possible.
This is easy to do, cheaper than range time, and will reinforce the proper mechanics needed to shoot without moving your gun off target.
Very cool man. Glad you had fun! Keep up the safe shooting. Once you get better and more involved, be the person that takes someone new shooting! I started shooting 10 years ago and have taken dozens of new shooters with me since. Every single one of them has had a great time
Your grip is ok. Could probably be improved minimally.
Your stance needs a lot of work. Bend your knees, sink your hips about an inch or two, and lean barely forward. That will drive the recoil through your body into those giant shock absorbers called legs and will keep you on target.
Have fun! Learn good practices earlier so there's less bad practices to untrain (the latter is harder to do).
Consider a live firearms instructor. Some bad habits can set in real early.
He is an Amazing autistic lead slinging machine. Us normies might need live instruction lol

TRex arms range is what I want, just a John Wick junkyard of cars in a small crater.
Perfect practice makes perfect.
Hey, maybe I'll call you over for any future scarecrow problems if that's cool? 😉👍

He ded
Scarecrow eh? I guess your range hasn't gotten those Antifa targets yet.
Hate the cuck places that won't allow human shaped targets. The fuck is the reasoning behind that anyway?
Reeeeing liberals are always behind stuff like that.
As if it changes anything...
It's different than Call of Duty, ain't it?
The Second Amendment: USE IT OR LOSE IT
Did you follow Joe's advice and go for the leg, or maybe the unarmed knife?
Home Invaders hate this ONE TRICK.
Welcome to the winners circle!
First time shooting, but hopefully not your last
Don't worry, might be even shorter than you think lmao.

If you don't have a little bit of fear with your first time handling and shooting a gun, then you definitely were a lot younger than I was.
You'll be looking into rifles shortly, I'd bet money on it. Been there, it is addicting. In a good way
What got you to finally get into guns? Mind sharing the story?
Cool, wish you the best!

Feels Good Man
Updoots for freedom!
You know the next step is to adopt one of your own..
Any ideas what you were looking at for a first time owner?
Are you looking for a fun range gun or something to carry or home defense?
Glock is a great workhorse gun but a lot of people find them bulky fit conceal carry every use

Welcome to the 2A club pede
That's good! You've taken your first step into a larger world.
Excellent! Keep it up! Welcome to the club
Well the one thing you can count on with firearms is lots of advice.......
Welcome to that thug life👌
That 40 caliber glock kicks like a mule Compared to the 9 mm. But you won’t have to shoot them twice with the 40 caliber LOL
Your posture needs a bit work. Lean forward a bit. Don't stand straight.
Everyone should get to the range
Hell yeah brother. Fun ain't it?
Awesome. Now keep doing it. Like, a lot.
I was kind of hoping that was Winnie the Pooh but a scarecrow will do. 🙃

Get yourself a .40 glock.. buy a third party 9mm barrel. Best of both worlds!
You also need the different ejector hunk of metal since the case is smaller, otherwise it won't eject 9mm properly.

Good job pede.
Welcome to the club!
Not meaning to shit on the kid but he's having that gun recoil like he's handling a big bore revolver, haha.
Squeeze don't pull my man.

Works even better if your gun has a laser.
Have fun!
Reminds me I have to go to the range soon, been a little too long since I last went.
You have more discipline than me, thats for sure. Every time I go I cant help but rapid fire a couple mags down range just because its fun lmao
Keep that ammunition flying
Nice!!!!

Pick up some snap caps. Go to the range with a buddy, load magazines for each other, salting each with a snap cap or two.
You'll be amazed by how much you flinch, and how quickly the reflex develops.
