Michelle Obama makes sense... she's one of the few demonrats without a lot to hide. Well, except her penis. (And when we go down that line of attack they will screech about our misogyny and transphobia, ugh)
Michelle is the one that makes little sense to me. If she was going to run she could have, and absolutely should have run the primary cycle. She's well spoken and absolutely adored by all those on the left (justified or not).
To wait until the final stretch to announce undercuts a serious amount of momentum she could have built up. Not only that, but why burn the political capital on a short notice effort that may well end up in defeat? These last two months would have been the absolute perfect time for Michelle to call for unity, really ham it up. They squandered that opportunity and I sincerely doubt Michelle will run.
So is this the game plan? I'm wondering if all of the racial discord is deliberate so that Biden's guaranteed black VP will be presented as a unifying force, someone that the BLM faction will respond to, someone who will promise to bring peace to the streets if elected.
I mean wouldnt it be to late now? Just like the kanye attempt, he cant get his name on ballots in certain states because of the deadline. So they are pretty much stuck with him at this point right?

Playing Devil's advocate, avoiding the primary would allow her, and Barack, to evade being attacked by fellow Democrats.
