That is a damn myth that needs to STOP. People don’t escape liberal cities to vote for more liberals. Conservatives in blue areas are probably orders of magnitude more conservative than those in red areas just from fighting all the BS every day. It takes toughness to fight the left wing in their territory. It’s at a level those in red states don’t understand. If a New Yorker (Trump) and Californian (Reagan) can be our two most conservative Presidents, then others can be good conservatives too.
We have a few bold libs that put BLM signs up. I had a neighbor put out some virtue signaling BS sign for a few days, and she eventually took it down when she saw how many people next door to her were setting fireworks off for the 4th.
My accountant runs a book keeping business for latin american business owners and he tells me most of his clients are also trump supporters but they dont talk about it or show support because they dont want to be targeted, harassed, have their property destroyed etc.
There is definitely a republican/libertarian underground here but no one is organized.
