In all seriousness, I'm a lifelong Redskins fan, it's where I grew up, and they are the players I've always known even at a personal level of interaction within the community. I've already soured on them because of Snyder, but I've still stuck with them despite that. However, if they change their logo/name I am done with them forever (or as long as they keep their potentially new logo/name), and that's a HUGE deal for me because of how much they meant to me as a kid.

There's always the possibility that I could find a new team if it comes down to that, but how do you just forget all those memories and cheer against them? Man, I HATE this woke cancel culture BULLSHIT, especially when scores of American Indians actually support the team and had a hand in the franchise. Leftists suck.

For over 20 years, I was a DirecTV NFL Sunday Ticket subscriber. When the NFL didn't respond correctly to stop the kneeling, I dropped it.

Of course, like I'm sure many of you, I still watched games, just not nearly as much. It's hard to quit something you really enjoyed for 50+ years (for the very first time, I didn't watch the Super Bowl last year). I went from watching as many games as I could, to just the games of one team. Problem, it's an out of market team. Solution, the internet allowed me to watch anyway. But now that too is over. I'm just done with the NFL.

I've cancelled other sports for less. I dropped MLB after the strike of '94 (I did come back briefly for a couple of months last year, thanks to T-Mobile giving away subscriptions to mlb-tv, but I know they're cucked too, so back into the dust bin they go). I dropped NBA when the Bulls were winning all the time (who wants to watch just to see who comes in second? (The same reason I stopped watching F1, I'm tired of the Mercedes show)). For those minor infractions, I dropped them. Now it's the NFL's time to go.

I looked around the house this weekend, and I'm sure like many of you, I've collected various bits and pieces of NFL merchandise. Rather than throwing it out, I think I'm going to box it up and mail it to the appropriate team. Or box it all up and mail it to the NFL office. I wonder, what would happen if we all did that?
