I wonder if he wants to be Mayor of New York City. The present mayor has one year left and cannot run again.

we need more actual Republicans like this in the GOP.

One thing I wonder is how do RINOs get to wear the R tag and get away with it?

I highly doubt it. He lives in the DC area and I think he's happy here. Lives near his dad, brother, and best friend. He would not have a strong base in NYC because he has no connection there. I could see Don Jr running in NYC. Maria Bartiromo asked him over the weekend if he's going to run and he didn't say no (didn't say yes either).

Interesting. I didn't know that.

Do you think Dinesh D'Souza would want to be mayor of New York City? He has quite a politically potent wife. They are married four years. Second marriage for both, She is 52. She is Venezuelan born.

Her name is Deborah Fancher.

https://biogossip.com/deborah-fancher-bio-net-worth/

Mayors' wives matter in New York City.

You seem up to speed on this hugely important race so I am asking you.

If you know any Governors for that poor state, NY, that would be interesting too.

Mrsattorney 3 points ago +3 / -0

Dinesh is too much of an academic to be a good politician, especially in NYC. I could see someone with law enforcement experience emerging...maybe a Dan Bongino or Bernie Kerik type. NY politics is pretty brutal, so you need someone who can dish it out and take it. If Trump wins reelection, it will help impact this race.

Verrerogo 1 point ago +1 / -0

They both sound good.

Would either want this job, do you think?

2
Mrsattorney 2 points ago +2 / -0

I have no idea. Bongino ran unsuccessfully in Dem controlled Maryland, as well as in Florida in 2016, so he might be averse to running anywhere again. I could see Don Jr perhaps being interested in running.

2
Verrerogo 2 points ago +2 / -0

So Bongino has already run for things, knows how it's done. Maybe he and Don Jr. could team up in some way. I have huge respect for Don Jr. I am not absolutely sure he is enough of a bastard for this role. He's a nice man and a father of small children. But I would be fine with being wrong. He sure knows the terrain.

Bongino's wikipedia page sounds as if he has been around the block several times.

From an article in Patch:

https://patch.com/maryland/severnapark/getting-to-know-dan-bongino

"...He left home when he was 16, taking along one of his younger brothers, who is now with the Secret Service and living in Millersville. His other brother is a licensed electrician in New York.

Bongino became a police officer in New York City in 1997 and used his accrued vacation time to get his bachelor's and master's degrees in psychology from the City University of New York. He joined the secret service in 1999 and completed a MBA in finance at Penn State. He worked out of the New York field office until 2002 when he transferred to the Baltimore office. As a special agent, he worked on the rental car fraud scheme, reported in the Baltimore Sun in March 2011...."

He has a lot of what it takes, a lot.

Do you think Bongino needs a bit of facial hair? Maybe a goatee? And less hair gel. It catches the light.

He might do very well. He has been a cop. The public service unions matter a lot in New York.

If they're so sure guns aren't needed to protect yourself, then prove it to us.

Many of us are in far more dangerous situations that they are.

Tucker has thrown down the gauntlet. A voice crying out in the wilderness. He’s actually having an impact putting some spine into noodle-y Rs. God bless him.

txladyvoter 5 points ago +5 / -0

Very noodle-y.

Sum_devil 11 points ago +11 / -0

You’re god damn right.

It shouldn’t even need an order. The police directly involved in protecting that piece of shit should all step aside and see how that mayor likes it then when they got no one keeping them from getting strung up. Treat us right!

lanre 3 points ago +3 / -0

But they won't because they know who signs their paycheck.

NuckFiggsNateHiggs 9 points ago +9 / -0

Along with the ones who call for gun control, this'd be a nice idea.

Lol these people would never vote to remove their own security detail but will be more than happy to remove any form of your self defense

They should have to live with the consequences of what they’re proposing.

2
supermagafragilistic 2 points ago +2 / -0

Thats always been my main beef with these gun control hypocrits. Its easy to be a politician or millionaire with a paid armed security detail and say guns need to go. Try living in an area where the only thing keeping roaming bands of thugs from kicking in doors to homes every night is the threat of an armed homeowner.

Agreed.

No, I think we should defund politicians instead.

Also for any politician trying to ban guns from law abiding citizens

1

Defund politicians.

1
Magastein143 1 point ago +1 / -0

hell yea! Let's start having rues that make sense. I want to see politicians living by the same rules they want to impose on the people. Those rich corrupt dictators sitting on their thrones make me sick. Like Any Twosome Newsom opening all his wineries and closing everything else in CA that brings joy.

We should also remove their qualified immunity so they can be sued also. Just sayin - fair is fair..

1
HCQaddict 1 point ago +1 / -0

Democrats can't do anything right. It should show you that private security is exactly what you need and public police are inferior. Defund both and pool money with your neighbors to fund a nightwatchman organization and employ your youth to build civic communities instead of gangs.
