while some disagree i personally think getting a few conservative public figures to either come on the site or at least tweet about us would be an enormous boost

I was thinking it would be a cool way to support our conservative voices and spread the word of TD if we did a little group fundraiser that would say, buy a spot on a conservative podcast / show.
some people dont want the site to become so big that it become unmanageable, I really disagree with that notion tho, we have the potential to change the internet as a whole and become the biggest success story our movement has had in a really long time once we hit critical mass (if we haven't already). and if it becomes hard to manage we just need to become bigger, better, stronger... like never before
