Publix is an extremely conservative company. Trust me, this has no political motivation behind it.
For fucks sake they just started to let associates wear beards a couple years ago. Publix is based as fuck (even though I’m a neck beard). The left in Florida is constantly trying to cancel them but they usually don’t budge. Unlike that faggot Cathy at Chick-Fil-A.
I'm not saying to cancel or boycott Publix. This could just be a random store owner or manager, or maybe for some crazy reason Goya is cool with it. But let them know.
They probably are good with it... shelves are blown out in some stores. It’s no different than recent limits on soap and paper product. Goya wants the shelf space while they ramp up production.
Supplies were low at the Safeway I went to yesterday (in Oregon), but there was no limit set... so we stocked up anyway. Worst case, the dried beans will be vacuum-sealed and then planted in the garden next year.
Perhaps Cathy missed his calling in the shoe shining business.
Stuff like this often doesn't come from the management. All it takes is one register jockey or can-stacker with a bad case of TDS.
I work in retail in the northeast as a cashier. I can tell you for a fact Goya has been selling like crazy, I saw people a day after the announcement buy 10+ cans

That is fantastic news, fellow pede. I only took issue with the assertion that Publix was politically motivated to put a limit on purchases. Publix is crazy conservative and always donating to the GOP in Florida. Fuck these people that want to boycott them because of this single picture that doesn't have any context. Concern trolls trying to use the left's tactics on a company who is on their side (albeit quietly).
