I know Trump is fighting to re-open schools but I think them staying closed is causing a mass red-pilling. Women are dealing with the possibility that they may HAVE to stay home. Men are coming up with ideas on how to survive on one income (or visa versa). Moderates are turning against the teachers unions.
I know some people on this site depend on public schools so I don't want to sound like a jerk. I am not saying we should keep them closed, just putting thoughts to words.
Trump is in a Win-Win scenario here.
Amen on ability to teach yourself. Neither of my parents were college-educated when I was homeschooled bit they taught me how to learn. I got into welding like my dad at first and then started online programming classes FOR FREE at age 26. Our software company is making $100k revenue a year right now. On our way to profit in a year or two.

On Friday I heard a very grim show from Steve Deace where he pushed his theory that the reopening of schools in the next few weeks is do or die. That if schools remain closed, then the economy will remain closed, and he sincerely doubts Trump or any president can be re-elected with so many millions of people unemployed. And that the most important thing now is to reopen the schools.
If there's a way that schools remaining closed would still help our cause, that would be a big relief. One way or the other, we need the lockdown to end. Or at least, unemployment.
