It was my understanding that the judge granted an additional extension for the plaintiff based on new evidence introduced? So this isn't over until after the next hearing.
What he means by large is having lots of backers. I've been following this for a long time. It's a couple thousand bucks out of patreons pocket for every single arbitration case because CA law says that the company must pay all arbitration costs. So each contributor can have a separate arbitration at $2000.00 a pop (I made that number up, but it's pretty close. Usually $1500 to $2500). So theoretically a Creator with 500 followers who gets banned could cost patreon a million bucks just to start the arbitration process. You get into the 10,000 backer kind of numbers you really are giving patreon something to think about.
The one Owen Benjamin's supporters filed against them. And Patreon was retarded enough to file a lawsuit against like 70 of the people who filed for arbitration.
If you make a patreon for the development of a "fan-game", and the gaming company who controls the IP tells Patreon to ban you, technically you could bypass copyright law and sue the IP owner lmaooo
Good. I hope Owen Benjamin hangs those Patreon fags with their own rope.
They already are. That's who won the ruling today, and who Cernovich is talking about. Thank you Legal Legion of Evil and Vox Day for the support.

Everyone called him crazy for trying this. Guess I owe him an apology the crazy bastard did it.

God I hope they get assfucked beyond belief.
These arbitration bombs are going to crush mandatory arbitration clauses. I love it.
Would it kill Cernovich to specify which lawsuit he is talking about?

Patreon will be extinct when the dust settles.
Thanks!
I hate that Cernovich has TDS, but he sure gets things done. I appreciate his reporting on this.
The Dems will introduce legislation to change this law in 3...2...
