Yeah or you can cover your mouth if you have to cough or sneeze like we've been doing for thousands of years. The problem with masks is people think they dont have to cover their mouths to cough.

My reasoning would be that even a cloth mask will slow down the spread of the virus. Even when you're not coughing or sneezing you're still exhaling particles into your surroundings.
My giving examples of people who have allergies and wear masks was to show they do indeed filter out particles.
