Most news today is bad news. Fair enough, a lot of bad is happening. But I don't see too much in what can be done to stop this.

• Vote - Obviously. Do we even have to say this?
• Get involved in in local parties, schools or other groups. Hold the ground whenever you can, and push back. We need a network to alert each other for help. There's a lot more people who hate this out there.
• Tell and convince as many people as possible about what they won't see from the media. Friends and family. Don't be so irate as to lose them, but draw a line about what you are willing to accept and stand by it. And get them to consider what their line is. 98% of the power the far left has is from "useful idiots".
• Party and have a good time, and use social events to talk about this stuff. But have a good time period. Revisit speakeasies if necessary. The current left has NO idea how to do this, and many of their number (and ours) are desperate for something that is more positive.
• Find and create private lists of those who value this. And those that don't. We should create a list of those people cancelled, and celebrate the crap out of them. You endured the fire! Now work with us to put it out. I'd start hiring based on people being fired, and with a negative bias of those who went through university. (Unless something very specific is required.)
• A republic stands because they have no leader, just a written set of rules. Those opposing the other side will need that as well. This will have to be similar to the constitution, but not the same thing. Likely simpler. It can be fully committed to memory. And even if communication is cut off, we all adhere to this. There's one for scientific reality and conduct in liberty. We just have to find it or make it.

Finally, three bits of good news to consider. First, the good news is that these are radically different groups. There's no overarching power. There are powerful interests to be sure, but even they have different agenda, and ultimately don't like each other. And MOST people are just being fooled. Win them over by treating them better when possible, but don't take a single step back.

Any communist paradise cannot work. It's scary to thing some may want to make the world communist. But they can't no matter how much they want to. It literally cannot produce resources well enough to sustain itself. All communist economies have had to rely on a capitalist one and then leech off it. This is good news because it means everywhere in the world CAN'T be communist even if they wanted. And if they want control, most places will actually have to be capitalist. The absolute horror show it will be for them to figure this lesson out is a different matter. But it cannot last long. But you can watch them self destruct at worst.

The entire mentality of the far left is only to criticize. They cannot create. The far left has to subvert others to get what they want. And they are only concerned about power. (Honestly I can't imagine writing a more ridiculous Saturday morning cartoon villain.) But that's them. That means all the power to construct, create, and empower is on our side. As cheesy as it sounds, We have the magical metaphorical weapon already. Of course they'll cheat, but we can create, and as long as enough of us stand our ground. We'll win.
