I tried to buy some ingrediants to make the Cuban rice recipe on their website, but my local Wallyworld didn't have the Sofrito in stock and they don't even carry the small red beans, golden cannilla rice, or the Sazon without Annatto. I got the olive oil, the Sazon with coriander and annatto, some chocolate crackers, and a box of rice. Any Pedes here got some recipes that use ingredients I might find in my Walmart?

Check the local delivery options from your grocery stores. I can order items from Fry's Foods and have them delivered within an hour or so.

No Fry's foods near me. I can go about 30 minutes south to a larger city and get the beans and sofrito, but I can't find the golden cannilla rice or the Sazon without Annatto. They have normal cannilla rice, so I don't know if I can sub it. I honestly don't know of other stores that would have it. I always just buy all my groceries from Walmart because that's where I work.

If you have a local Mexican market, most of them have a nice selection.

And I've seen Goya in Big Lots too.

Also, check the frozen foods section for Goya products. I can personally vouch for the excellence of the cheese empanadas.
