Phones are too small the capacitors too large. I mean approaching this problem from an engineering perspective, unlikely.

They need electricity. Drain it and it’s a paper weight

I mean it could be done, in the larger phones, but I still doubt it, they just take up too much space.

I haven’t taken apart an S10 or new iPhone but I bet if you did, you’d find there isn’t much room for anything inside

Long range Wireless charging is a Long long way off yet, besides having some proof of concepts done, I can’t say I’ve seen anything that’s really a game changer - happy to be wrong though.

Even the normal ‘wireless’ chargers I have are shitty in comparison to the cabled versions
