I keep thinking about doing this but the equipment is semi expensive and I would need to go to the range much more often before I would ever hit the break even. I also like to use a variety of munitions so that would further complicate things. I wounder how much I could save reforming spent 5.56 to 300 AAC though... by far the most fun to shoot.
You probably wouldn't save much if any when you began, but you gain a nice skill and have powder, bullets, dies, press, tumblers and all sorts of other stuff if you needed them
