Companies are already leaving Seattle as well. And now with the new income tax, Amazon will be leaving, and that means a whole lot of suppliers will too, which in turn will put a bunch of secondary companies out of business.

Rents will fall as will property values and tax receipts, and Seattle will have no one to blame but themselves.

I know for a fact that Amazon is trying not to hire people into their Seattle facilities. I have a friend who lives in Seattle and is interviewing for a job at Amazon for work that could be done anywhere in the US. They refuse to station him in Seattle because they want to limit their presence in the city.

Seattle is a wonderful place; used to live there 25 years ago. But I dont feel sorry for them. They voted this on themselves. Seattle is saturated with the worst kind of smug liberal assholes.
