I would strongly recommend watching all of them, but just as a heads up they are an hour and half (roughly) each. But, the short version is: On both debates, the anti-lockdown positions won.

I was talking to someone the other day about risk in general and showed this person that for our age group, if you contract covid in the first place the mortality risk is 1 in 100,000. To put it i to perspective i showed this person a list of the risks of dying from other causes. The top causes were of course heart disease and cancer, which is greater than 1 in 10. If you're scared to death of covid then how can you justify getting behind the wheel where your odds of death are 1 in 100. Or how about eating dinner where your odds of death are one in 2600. Our chances of death from covid are about the same as the chances to die in a dog attack. If you're old or at risk, stay home. If you live with old or at risk people, stay home, keep your kids home. Some of us aren't at risk and would like to get back to a normal life. They use the excuse that we do it for others sake yet these are the same people that would slam on the brakes in front of you for driving too slow. Hypocrits the lot of them.

If hospitals were overwhelmed with COVID cases, then anybody who needed to go to a hospital for any other serious reason, like say getting into a car crash, or a bad fight, would now be unable to be treated because hospitals would not have the space to care for them. By flattening the curve, yes there are people who will still unfortunately die directly due to COVID, but there are many other people who will be able to avoid an untimely death because hospitals will now be able to care for them. If lockdowns didn't save lives, GOP governors wouldn't be pushing for them as well.
