As usual, fake news is gonna fake news. It's what they do. Yes, they're correct that the Orlando hospital reported highly inaccurate numbers but then they move on to labs that simply had high numbers thus reducing the gravity of the situation here.
The real number of labs reporting 100% positive was 333!

I received a flu vaccine last year, approximately November or December, and have had two Covid tests come back negative. I haven't had the flu either.

Curious, why did you take the covid tests? Were you showing symptoms? I see the 40mm tests done across the US to date - I'm thinking that a great many of those are just 'curious' since the tests are on demand of the 'patient' at this point through these drive throughs. (and are free to the patient) Also, the positive tests reflect the people who 'have' it who are getting repeat tests every couple of days to see if they're over it. That one person could show up as multiple 'positive cases'. Wish somebody like Birx would address that to the public, but I'm afraid those numbers aren't captured cleanly enough to analyze. And what's to stop me from going to one Drive thru test tent, then driving across town to another drive thru test tent just to compare results? I think this has become such a huge mess that this is why we aren't seeing the task force very much these days. No confidence in the data.
I was in the ER at the VA both times, roughly 3 weeks apart. It's required to allow them to test. Both times I got the "shove the plastic swab to the backside of your brain" test.
A lot of people are getting tested indirectly now.
Doctors appointment? Most likely have to get tested. Minor surgery? Most likely have to get tested

Some people might get tested because we were told that we can be carrying it and never have symptoms. I suspect this is a lie for the most part. Media hasn't mentioned that in months as far as I can tell.
Which tests. Antibody or rna? RNA testing is much more accurate.
I don't have any idea. Whichever one they shove the swab inside your nose so far it tickles your brain. But knowing the VA, I wouldn't be surprised if they do both types of test. I always request a full drug screening and full STD screening every time I have a blood workup at the VA to be on record for security clearance reasons.

Dr Birx stated about a month ago that the severity of the symptoms are a function of (1) your general health condition but (2) the 'viral load' that initially infected you. Brief exposure to covid 19 of a healthy individual, few or no symptoms even though you might test positive. Long-term, up close exposure (hospital workers around a sea of positive patients) more severe symptoms. So, your comment about developing constant immunity due to regular exposure in the general community makes sense to me.
Indeed. It is highly infectious. But the death rate in the US has proven to be just slightly higher than the flu.
If you are under the age of 50, your best bet is to try and get the virus before winter.

It'll be impossible to know, now that they've moved the goalposts and changed what they're counting as "covid cases" these days. Going by their previous description, it might be slightly higher than the flu. But going by their "had prior contact with a covid patient and exhibiting a symptom" bullshit? The data is tainted.
And how to filter out 'multiple positives' by the same patient. Are those counted as multiple cases? I think the numbers have gotten so messed up at this point, and the WH can't release any lack of confidence in these numbers because of losing face to the nation. When the tell-all books come out from Fauci and the other testing team members in a couple of years, this is going to reveal a complete CF behind the scenes with these numbers. We were woefully unprepared for a pandemic. Surprise!

If the trends we see in FL and Texas continue (and maybe California I haven't looked at their numbers in a few days), the official death rate will drop below the flu death rate in about a week or two.

It would not take much for someone to convince me this is literally nothing more than the common cold, nothing novel about it, and we're being played completely. It's so convenient that a huge portion of the "cases" are asymptomatic, but that they're just as bad at spreading it (according to MSM). It's so convenient that your own antibodies aren't going to protect you from getting it again. It's so convenient that they think a vaccine's antibodies will be even stronger than the ones the human body created naturally. Thise facts are all completely implausible, or at least not in line with every other disease we know about, and allows the media and Fauxi to change the narrative at their whim. I'm completely convinced the positives and negatives are just contrived and controlled numbers. The puppet masters are sending out the allowable data and hospitals are just publishing it as they are being required. Its also pretty convenient that a cheap and readily available cure that's been proven safe over 70 years works in a few hours to cure COVID-1984 even in patients on death's doorstep.

There is another curative treatment being used all over the world. Usually used for asthma patients. I think it is ibudilast. Being used successfully by all kinds of doctors since March but all news about it is being heavily suppressed.
