Most of us trusted Sessions to stay awake long enough to matter. That he took a three year siesta isn't something any of us saw coming.

Playing devil’s advocate: Ann is a hawk on immigration. Sessions is also. She doesn’t care about anything else but this one issue. Tuberville is apparently very bad on immigration.

I feel like Ann Coulter is an example of a partisan hack. Occasionally if not often correct, but never sincere, and always adhering to a hidden agenda in furtherance of her political alliances. Such a person is the exception not the rule in conservative circles. Such a person in liberal circles is the rule, not the exception, only difference being that liberal hack is rarely if ever correct.
A few years ago someone said, 'Ann Coulter is not a conservative.' I didn't think anything about it.
Now my eyes have been open. She is not a conservative.
Of course, she did, Bannon and Coulter were leading this cause that basically only Jeff Sessions was advocating, Jeff did not feel like he was the right messenger so Bannon wanted Trump to run on Jeff's ideas. Why do you think Sessions was the first Sen. to endorse Trump? There was a big write up on this a couple of years back. Sessions problem is he allowed the Deep State to hoodwink him, they called him a racist then a Russian collaborator, it was all designed to get him to recuse. Dems are evil.
