As a California refugee I'm telling you I'll be a force for keeping SD free of the ever-migrating left.

“Stay away from reservations and do not trust Indians or give them any money, food or assistance. This may go against your beliefs but you will see what I am talking about quickly, they will try to scam you.“

This^ is sound advice. I’d be quite happy if I never had to deal with a wagonburner again.

Wow, thank you for that extensive rundown. I think you probably saved me a ton of time trying to learn all that on my own.

I'm not from California originally but I understand the bias against people from there. They earned it. I also currently live on the MX border so I'm used to getting scammed by racist third worlders that think I'm a walking ATM because of my fair skin.

Do you think SD's current governor is unusual or typical of the kind of people that run the state?

Is this refugee issue part of some kind of federal program meant to disrupt American communities? Or is it more local than that?

Thank you for writing that up. I'm originally from the Northeast where the winter begins in October and generally ends in April. How does that compare to SD in your experience?

I wouldn’t recommend it, unless you have a background in farming.

Ok, im in the same boat. My questions are:

  1. Have they continued concerts, sports events, etc in South Dakota?

  2. Any bars for sale in a semi populated area with good street visibility in South Dakota?

  3. Do i have to ride a motorcycle?

Damn am i glad i added in that line about bars. Liquor licenses vary so much from state to state and corruption is rampant. Y'all gotta fix that!! Maybe I'll just start a BBQ joint.

but I'm sure your new neighbors will still be giving you the stink eye for a while

As they should.

But I would get involved in the community right way behind a message of, "Thank you for taking me in, now let me help keep the left out. You have no idea how radical, corrosive, and destructive they've become."

Honestly, I think in this post-COVID world there will be more political migrations like this.
