I should have said I would do this, but in reality I'm just not going to places that require masks.
Instead of buying my $3,000 lawn mower at Menards (requires masks), I just went to Home Depot. No masks! Instead of going to Costco, we cancelled our membership and go literally anywhere else...
If they require masks state-wide in public, then we're going to have a problem because I am definitely going to get into some physical altercations. I don't tolerate busybodies and asking me why I'm not practicing Islam correctly per government fiat is a bad way to start a conversation...
Alex Jones just tells the employees to let their manager know that it's perfectly fine if they want to enforce their mask policy but he won't ever be coming back to do business with them.
Oh yeah I agree with your assessment. I was just bringing it up because it was relevant. Plus I can't really see it working in states like NJ where there are EOs mandating masks indoors.

I like home depot as an alternative to menards. Never shopped there before all of this. Probably won't stop when it's all over!
Home Depot is the shit. Store plus app means I get everything lickety split. However going back 3 or 4 times per job is still unavoidable.
This guy fixes shit.
Same. We used to go to Menards, but since the mandatory mask policy, we go to Home Depot. Have no desire to go back to Menards

Not effective - they just see this as you being "unreasonable" and that you don't really mean it.
It's better to not go at all and let their bottom line get ravaged. Money speaks loudly.

You've got to follow through, but wasting the manager's time helps too.
