Oh yeah I agree with your assessment. I was just bringing it up because it was relevant. Plus I can't really see it working in states like NJ where there are EOs mandating masks indoors.

Not effective - they just see this as you being "unreasonable" and that you don't really mean it.
It's better to not go at all and let their bottom line get ravaged. Money speaks loudly.

You've got to follow through, but wasting the manager's time helps too.
