This is literally true for me. I'm partially deaf and the mask mandate has been hell on me. I can't understand anyone and now I can't even read lips.
Have a very great personal friend who is half deaf, they are having the WORST time with clerks and such because half of them mumble and you can't even see what they're trying to say. Pain in the ass.
