Their cloth masks don't work. They might as well not wear it. Only properly worn N95s MIGHT work against the virus. Real surgical masks can only protect others from you. So if you have no reason to believe you are sick, you don't have to wear a mask.
Fuck a mandate, there was some bullshit in my workplace that required you to wear corporate issued masks that are one tiny thin layer of fabric. I complained to corporate and the store owner and told them if you're gonna pretend to care about COVID then I should be allowed the best PPE available.
Not like I actually give a shit about the masks but my homemade one is way more comfortable
