My husband has it. The first week he had a major headache, decrease in appetite and couldn’t smell anything. He cleared up the first week. However, he had to test negative to return to work. And his tests keep coming up positive. It’s been over a month and a half now. And he keeps testing positive. The public health officials told us it stays in your system for 8 weeks. Not sure where they got the basis of it.
My kids and I have constant exposure to him. We all tested negative. The BS part of it was we had to be quarantined along with him for two weeks. (I don’t mean anything bad by my husband but I like to go out) After two weeks, my husband was allowed to go leave the house; but my kids and I had to be quarantined for an additional two weeks. The public health department says the first two weeks of having Covid is the most contagious. After that, the transmission rate is lower. I honestly don’t know where the data or the evidence comes from.
