It's the same in California. All family is here, and the state itself is absolutely beautiful, but the politics are awful. Very hard to leave with everyone you know and grew up with here.
Stay and fight. Precious few people show up at the voting booths. Elections are won with small percentages of eligible voters casting their vote. Work on convincing people to vote for right wing candidates and populist candidates and save your state.

Rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat. Some day there will be nowhere left to run because all ground has been ceded to the leftist scums, who will keep importing and importing and importing their voters and giving them sanctuary in all the cities we have abandoned in order to run to a temporarily safer place until it flips and gets filled with more and more imported voters.
