Denouncing high skilled players in games is also just as absurd. Esports is just as much a legitimate skill as something like Chess. Not to mention with exceptions most esports players are in decent shape in order to actually phsically handling being on stage and dealing with the pressure. (You'd be shocked how healthy you actually need to be just to stand and perform in front of a crowd)
And they’re realizing that physical fitness goes a long way to reaction time. Pretty sure the big teams have physical trainers and dietitians. And with the future of warfare some of these kids might be recruited to control drones/terminators. I mean who knows, yes it’s not as good as in the flesh practice on a field, but the teamwork, communication, and bonding still exist. I have no clue anymore but the money is funneling there, especially in Asian markets. I will concede that baseball/football/hockey are leagues better.
