In 2016, West as VP would have been doable--but not now.

Pence is already the VP. Trump HAS TO stick with him for 2020. That's just not negotiable. If Trump switches in a new VP, the media and the Democrats will go to town. It'll be a goddamn field day, and it might actually cost Trump that second term.
