Their personalities are night and day. I'm not saying Pence isn't a good guy, I'm sure he is. Trump just has the attitude and balls that are required to take on all of these traitors and just keep fighting, day in and day out.
I don't think Pence can shake the old-fashioned, prim and proper, my respectability matters more than winning, Republican attitude of the past. He's the kind of guy that would work well as president in times where we weren't at war with the Marxists and just needed a good, moral figurehead.
I don't see him getting down and dirty and taking on the swamp anywhere near as viciously and effectively as Trump. I'd take Don. Jr. any day over Pence for POTUS.
I missed that you specifically meant Pence... but I see how he fits that 'reserved', instead of 'fight like it matters', attitude he and those like him have.
There are elements of our coalition which view Christian morality as nearly as restrictive as woke religion's faux morality.
Sucks but it's reality. We just need to hold our coalition together until we can defeat the Marxists. As long those parts of our movement compromise politically too, I'm willing to meet them half way. For now.
I think the things which made our society great in the first place are inextricably linked to Christianity.
Individuals inculcated in that environment can contribute even if they don't believe in the religion. But once the irreligious start to become a significant minority or majority, the system starts to break down.
So I have no problem with you personally if you're irreligious or with our other friends who are irreligious. But I dont think it's sustainable long term in a societal sense.
I don't have a problem with Christians, I just have a problem with religious institutions that become corrupt and start having too much sway where political matters are concerned.
Believe me, I'd rather live in a neighborhood where I was the only non-religious person, than live in a neighborhood with woke trash.
I also agree that the culture in western society is degenerate and has poisoned the people.
I draw more from the philosophy of the classical world, which deals with morality as well. I think that, along with Christianity, can provide the guidance necessary to get away from the sickness that is contemporary, post-modernist, "culture".
Not to be contentious, but what are the differences you see? Character? Integrity? Vision? Style?

Got it and agreed.

How is your attitude towards those who support MAGA, yet aren't religious, any different?

Pence is a softy.
