I don't like the idea of campaign finance reform in national elections. It would greatly advantage the favored candidate of the national media and push away "outsiders", whether it be Donald Trump, Tulsi Gabbard, Andrew Yang, Herman Cain... and favor the likes of Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, Kirsten Gillibrand.. etc.

However, when you get down to local politics, it starts to make a lot of sense. It is absolutely obscene for anyone from outside the local community to be writing checks for a local official. There should be no international power players loading cash into races for district attorney, mayor, etc.

I think we should create a big beautiful wall around our District Attorneys. There should be no fucking outside influence into local law enforcement.
