If we should all be wearing a mask now for prevention of this then this means we should have all always been wearing masks from birth to death because there are even worse things killing even more people out RIGHT now.
WTF do you mean by 'we don't know'? Do you believe this is the first time a contagious virus has been an issue, and no doctors or scientists have ever studied whether masks have any effect on stopping them from spreading?
We do know actually. They don't work. Everyone was told that the "precautions" in March were going to "stop the spread." All of a sudden, after the country started to open again, the Left is telling us the "precautions" didn't work because nothing has supposedy changed so we have to do the same thing all over again.
The masks are being pushed because the Left wants to continue the false narrative that everyone is contagious and therefore, everyone at risk. This way they can continue to make everyone's lives miserable and continue to sow discord and hatred.
Oh, it also gives them excuse to run a Presidential campaign without actually having to campaign. This is what's infuriating me about GEOTUS' campaign team right now. They're playing right into the Left's hands. He has to be in full campaign mode right now. Screw the masks and mandates. If he shuts down rallies and continues to hide like Biden, he's going to lose this election. He's going to lose to an unpopular crook with dementia.

Yeah actually there's no scientific studies on this. I've looked for em but if you can find one I'd be happy to be proven wrong.

I guess it depends on your definition of work. Do they stop transmission by 5% of the time? Maybe. It certainly wouldn't stop it 100% of the time.
