it absolutely helps with large particles/droplets. But supposedly this is spread by just sharing the air someone else is breathing with for a certain period of time, the longer the time the more viral load. That’s why social distancing is WAY more important than wearing a mask in which the air is barely filtered if at all.

Important for what exactly? The evidence that “social distancing” reduces the severity of a pandemic is surprisingly absent. The whole concept was only invented less than fifteen years ago.

I mean it’s pretty obvious that keeping your distance from someone whom is sick will prevent yourself from getting sick.

I’m not saying 6 ft or whatever number people wanna say, but just in general, especially if the virus is not a hand to mouth virus and more so aerosolized.
