That’s what they told us, but I always suspected that some congressman’s wife or brother or wife etc had cornered the market on plastic bags. It never made sense, trees are renewable, always have been. Paper is biodegradable. Paper companies are not just going to cut down all of the trees and not replant them. They own tree farms. But they ( insane lunatic liberal Democrats) forced us to use plastic bags. But now of course they are banning them. Liberalism is a mental disorder.
