Yes, and another reason we need MORE SCOTUS nominees from Trump. This is going to take a long, long time to adjudicate and we need to have the right folks on the other end of it... though 200 plus federal appointments will certainly help.
Even if they did they wouldn't say they were at a protest.
Anytime some "official" bureau someplace is feeding us numbers and stats to control our brains, we need to use those brains to question very skeptically what it is we're being asked to believe, and why, and WHO WILL BENEFIT MOST if we believe it.
This is why, when we hear poll numbers that favor Trump, or numbers like the OP, they automatically ring true with an air of absolute authenticity.
We have to wonder: why would anyone in the media falsely advance anything positive about Trump? Completely and totally impossible. They'd be out of a job before lunch.
When it's negative, as 99% of Trump-related numbers are, then the natural response of the educated brain is to discount it as just more wolf-crying bullshit from the desperate losers of the amoral left, and try to see if there's any corroboration on any non-left-wing-propaganda sites.
They've conditioned us by feeding us a steady diet of nothing but fake news and Trump-hate. The ship has sailed on their credibility, and it's never coming back.
We now don't believe them, and we never will again.

I'm not calling them "mainstream" any more, now that so few people watch or read them, and even fewer believe them. WE have taken over as the mainstream. They're just hysterical lying fringe cultists now.
That’s why whenever anybody talks about ‘the science’ or ‘the numbers’ or anything like that, I just tune out at this point. Science doesn’t move that quickly. There’s no science on whether or not Trump caused this or that. There’s just argument and inference. Real ‘science’ would discount almost all data being put out on the virus at this point when many tests have a 50:50 accuracy rating, hospitals are jumping over themselves to call everything Covid, and most people don’t even develop a single symptom. We have no idea how many people have or are getting the virus, only that it doesn’t appear to be all that deadly for the grand majority of people, and that heard immunity is the only way anyone could move on from it, which is how we handle everything else.
Any time I hear somebody cite ‘THE SCIENCE’ at this point I say “okay so you have random controlled double blind studies? Predictive equations? Anything?” “CNN SAID I AM UNSAFE SO I’SA GONNA STAY INSIIIIDE.” “Yeah that’s what I thought.”
