I used to be able to use Google to find good information on non-mainstream ideas and conspiracy theories. Now all Google has are posts that show one side of the story.
There definitely was a shift in the past 5 years, where Google changed from showing "the best search results" to showing "the search results that fit what we want people to know".
That's literally killing their own core product.
Now I have to get off gmail and I'll be done with my Google usage.
I remember a few years back I started having trouble finding what I was looking for. Search results only yielded big corporate pages at the top.
