I always try to talk to them, then they try and quote some fake articles, and just respond with I don't know personally, but I've read from Facebook or whatever other garbage.
Yep. Same here. I have a friend who is actually based and redpilled in his outlook on society. He hates taxes and hates being told what to do. He makes indecent jokes about things that would normally offend leftists as well. Though when it comes to policy and narratives, he gets all his news from the headlines that his Apple Phone pushes to him. He gets no information outside of that and doesn't realize how his real world values are actually opposite of what he mindlessly supports in politics.
Multiple times now, I have sent him headlines that counter what his phone tells him to read, and he'll be like "ehh whatever man I don't care" but then continues to believe what is fed to him. Something we on the right do not attack enough is the actual information flow on phones. Apple has their own news updates that feed users with the news they decide is important. It's no different than the CCP deciding what information their citizens can see, only this is a large company that decides it in the US.
The bad thing: Impossible to get through to him
The good thing: He does not have enough conviction to take his opinions to the ballot.
They take the fake news headlines for the truth and never look any further. This is why the fake news is the true enemy
Oh, the articles are as slanted as the headlines. I know, because I read them. What they leave out is as important as what they put in.
OP knows how to use the resources here. It's refreshing to see.

I had a similar email conversation with my sister. She asked... I answered - no ill will was exchanged. it was good.
