Seriously, I don't understand how people can't see that conservatives don't care if you are a bit browner than we are. We appreciate good values, and anyone can join in if you can simply live and let live.
Pretty much everyone I know who has a conservative mindset, including the ones relatively inactive in politics, don't really care about race in their daily interactions. Nobody talks about race or seems to think much about it, unless someone brings it up.
