Serious Answer:

Even the race-baiting paper which is the topic of this conversation says white people are "individualistic." But good try. Americans believe in individuals and the ultimate judge of a person is all within that specific person, not the mean of whatever various groups you, or whomever, may attach to that person.

However when you do group things you may see patterns arise. Whether that grouping is done by skin color and IQ, as you suggest, or by state or city, or socio-economic background of relatives, or by education level, height, sex, age, and on and on.

Is this data useful? I'll leave that to the data scientists, AI engineers, and so-forth who are gathering this shit up by the PetaByte. Data recently surpassed oil as the most valuable commodity, so maybe they know something. Maybe what it says you wouldn't like to hear, kind of like how the Popes didn't like hearing the Earth wasn't the center of the universe. Didn't make it any less true because it inconveniences someone.

On second thought, let's just throw away all scientific inquiry and empirical evidence because someone might get offended or some powerplayer may lose their control over the masses. Seems legit.

Thanks for the answer. What I specifically was driving at is what does IQ science offer us, besides being "factual" data? If the mean IQ of Somalians is extremely low, what do you tell Somalians? Give up? What if a black american kid has genetics that are 1/3 european, as many do, should IQ science matter to them? What if you tell "white" children (who? celts? slavs? basque?) that they are stained at birth genetically to be inferior to asians and ashkenazi jews? I just really don't understand the impulse to flaunt scientific tribalism. It appears to only justify the concept of racism - i'm not seeing how it helps anything, at all. Maybe it'll help aliens looking down on us. If this country doesn't survive as a creedal nation, we're all doomed. There are more tribes with more power and wealth and members than in the history of our species, and tensions remain high. Americans don't have a fuckin clue what actual tribalism looks like, which is apparent in every other country on earth. That's a powder keg - why would you introduce a flame to the situation? For the sake of science? I don't intend to insult or say I'm right/you're wrong, just a curious subject.
