Yup. This guy germaphobes. It's pathetic seeing all the Karens out there screaming about masks. Bitch, I've been avoiding doorknobs since before the day you got your gender studies degree.

Putting produce back was a great point. I saw a lady at walmart with a full facemask covering (not muslim) and she picked up like 30 bell peppers, onions, and garlic and put all but 3 back.

She didn't clean her hands before and I'm sure everyone else didnt either. But I was more pissed that can't even apply her own logic to the food she was interacting with.

12
Tatesatoa 12 points ago +12 / -0

See and this is the thing I’m mindful of. I don’t wear a mask and only visit places that don’t force me to wear one. At the grocery store I’m very mindful of what I touch always have been, I look at produce before grabbing and I keep what I pick up. I feel that goes much further than a mask, but then again what do I know.

Believe me, I don't want anyone living my daily nightmare. But the media seems pretty adamant that they want a full generation of germaphobes.

Every booger pickin’, finger lickin’, ass scratching idiot is in the store touching everything in sight and nobody is batting an eye.

Nobody is wearing eye protection either which is a direct portal for a virus just the same. This funneling of the people is bound to be very dangerous very soon.

Nobody is wearing eye protection either which is a direct portal for a virus just the same.

👆🏼THIS! Pedes, use this fact with any Maskaren that accosts you. My liberal nurse friend started lecturing me the other day about “all these damn people who refuse to wear a mask are the reason for this spike in cases.” I told her if masks are. “The Law”, then what about eye protection? She was seriously confused. I said “doesn’t the virus just as easily enter your eyes? Can’t you catch it that way?If someone who has it sneezes in your face and you have a mask on, but no eye protection, you would still get it, right?Shouldn’t they also make safety glasses the law as well if they thought face coverings work?” She said “well, yeah...” Then she switched to saying “well, people could wear those face shields, I guess.”🤣

Shit-mart isn't getting a penny from me. When you tell me I HAVE to wear one is when I tell you to fuck yourself. I don't live in goddamn communist China. I'm not wearing some bullshit nonworking virtue signaling fashion fad. I don't care if people wear them. That's their choice to look like an idiot.

Trying to remove germs from our systems completely is going to weaken our immune systems and when we finally get sick from common illnesses - we're going to lose a huge chunk of the population. This is all globalist population control.

Modern_Times 11 points ago +11 / -0

The Wal-mart near me in upstate NY was wiping down all their self service scanners between customers for the first time 2 weeks ago. Then they made half the macines cash and half plastic. Last night I stopped in and none of the self service machines took cash. They had 3 manned registers open, the only ones that took cash and all three had huge lines while all the self service machines had no wait at all.

13
Proud_American 13 points ago +13 / -0

If you can touch a product and not buy it, you are possibly spreading bacteria’s and viruses.

5
Modern_Times 5 points ago +5 / -0

I agree. What I was saying is that for 3 months didn't do anything about the self check outs and then went from that to no cash in 3 weeks in 3 stages. It looks like they want to end cash purchases if they are keeping the cash lines so long.

It's amazing in a way, somehow everyone on earth forgot about hands and masks, the things you pull on and off your face with your hands are the ONLY thing that can block it.

Just yesterday I was thinking about this because we were out shopping and here's this gift store where everyone is wearing masks and absolutely everyone is picking up everything, rubbing, touching, holding, staff is passing boxes or items, customers giving things to staff, some kids are smearing and humping all over certain toys they want while mothers pulls and grab the kids and toys and its okay because we're all wearing masks.

Everyone I watch pulls at their mask, sales girls itch at their masks, moms use their fingers to pull up and down the children's masks, I also pull down my mask but rub my finger across my lips again, I've handled 20 items, someone else is seen scratching their itchy eye with their finger. I got a mask fiber stuck to my eyelid so i finger and grab it off my eyelid.

There hasn't been a case of corona.. no, i dont mean a death but a single new infection for over 2 months.

3
2016TrumpMAGA 3 points ago +3 / -0

If this were as contagious as we're supposed to believe, we would have seen massive outbreaks among retail workers back in April and May before they started masks and social distancing in stores.

So I can't fill up my own container, but I can use a cup. Which I will refill several times after I've not only touched it but also it's touched my bottle.

Fucking retarded.

3
RockyMin 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yep, and I'm sure that happens a lot at places like WalMart. Even when there is no "pandemic".

2

2
AmericanJawa 2 points ago +2 / -0

Logically, if being in the store at all requires a mask, then all employees should be wearing a mask 100% of the time that they are in the store; which in turn means that logically, it is unsafe for employees to eat or drink while in Wal-Mart, since eating and drinking requires the removal of the mask.

I was at The Dollar Store a couple weeks back. Was 4 back in line at the cash register. Watched 2 people use the debit/credit card keypad that had a plastic sandwich bag over it. I get up there and use the same keypad with the same bag. They never changed it. I asked what the point of it was. I just got a shoulder shrug.

I hate to piss on this parade, but we do actually clean those things. At my walmart at least. Bottles of disinfectant all over the place, and the Self Check Hosts spritz and wipe as often as they can, as we're being observed.

But yeah, I STILL see people come out of stalls and go to shop without washing their hands. I think we should be able to assault those gross shitbags. Or at least remind them that it's better to not shop WITH SHIT ALL OVER THEIR FUCKING FINGERS.

You may be supported by the experience of public transportation. A few bus drivers and other workers caught COVID and died before stricter precautions were used to protect them, but there are no known links to riders (but who knows if anyone even tried to keep track of those).

But this may not quite compare. The reason is that we've done this since time immemorial and have built up immunity and resistance to small doses of the usual stuff in our modern environment. But this coronavirus is NEW. The results have shown up in the clusters due to parties, at least one funeral, and at least one choir practice. What the authorities say is not a total crock.

Having said all that, my uninformed opinion is that masks by themselves work in most situations. But you need extra precautions for places like hair salons and barbers, where close, continuous personal contact is necessary. Maybe social distancing is enough for patrons in restaurants and bars but employees need gloves and masks.

Jacobs, J. L. et al. (2009) “Use of surgical face masks to reduce the incidence of the common cold among health care workers in Japan: A randomized controlled trial,” American Journal of Infection Control, Volume 37, Issue 5, 417 – 419. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19216002

N95-masked health-care workers (HCW) were significantly more likely to experience headaches. Face mask use in HCW was not demonstrated to provide benefit in terms of cold symptoms or getting colds.

Cowling, B. et al. (2010) “Face masks to prevent transmission of influenza virus: A systematic review,” Epidemiology and Infection, 138(4), 449-456. https://www.cambridge.org/core/journals/epidemiology-and-infection/article/face-masks-to-prevent-transmission-of-influenza-virus-a-systematic- review/64D368496EBDE0AFCC6639CCC9D8BC05

None of the studies reviewed showed a benefit from wearing a mask, in either HCW or community members in households (H). See summary Tables 1 and 2 therein.

bin-Reza et al. (2012) “The use of masks and respirators to prevent transmission of influenza: a systematic review of the scientific evidence,” Influenza and Other Respiratory Viruses 6(4), 257–267. https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10.1111/j.1750-2659.2011.00307.x

“There were 17 eligible studies. … None of the studies established a conclusive relationship between mask/respirator use and protection against influenza infection.”

Smith, J.D. et al. (2016) “Effectiveness of N95 respirators versus surgical masks in protecting health care workers from acute respiratory infection: a systematic review and meta-analysis,” CMAJ Mar 2016 https://www.cmaj.ca/content/188/8/567

“We identified six clinical studies … . In the meta-analysis of the clinical studies, we found no significant difference between N95 respirators and surgical masks in associated risk of (a) laboratory-confirmed respiratory infection, (b) influenza-like illness, or (c) reported work-place absenteeism.”

Offeddu, V. et al. (2017) “Effectiveness of Masks and Respirators Against Respiratory Infections in Healthcare Workers: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis,” Clinical Infectious Diseases, Volume 65, Issue 11, 1 December 2017, Pages 1934–1942, https://academic.oup.com/cid/article/65/11/1934/4068747

“Self-reported assessment of clinical outcomes was prone to bias. Evidence of a protective effect of masks or respirators against verified respiratory infection (VRI) was not statistically significant”; as per Fig. 2c therein:

Radonovich, L.J. et al. (2019) “N95 Respirators vs Medical Masks for Preventing Influenza Among Health Care Personnel: A Randomized Clinical Trial,” JAMA. 2019; 322(9): 824–833. https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/fullarticle/2749214

“Among 2862 randomized participants, 2371 completed the study and accounted for 5180 HCW-seasons. ... Among outpatient health care personnel, N95 respirators vs medical masks as worn by participants in this trial resulted in no significant difference in the incidence of laboratory-confirmed influenza.”

Long, Y. et al. (2020) “Effectiveness of N95 respirators versus surgical masks against influenza: A systematic review and meta-analysis,” J Evid Based Med. 2020; 1- 9. https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10.1111/jebm.12381

“A total of six RCTs involving 9,171 participants were included. There were no statistically significant differences in preventing laboratory-confirmed influenza, laboratory-confirmed respiratory viral infections, laboratory-confirmed respiratory infection, and influenza-like illness using N95 respirators and surgical masks. Meta-analysis indicated a protective effect of N95 respirators against laboratory-confirmed bacterial colonization (RR = 0.58, 95% CI 0.43-0.78). The use of N95 respirators compared with surgical masks is not associated with a lower risk of laboratory-confirmed influenza.”

I’ve said in an older post that if they mandate masks, they’ll mandate more things that are “bad”‘for you such as alcohol, sugar (Big Gulp) anything and everything. Give an inch, they’ll take a mile. “That baby growing inside of you could cause health problems. You have to abort it.” Who do we know that does that?

It’s not ok, it can’t be legal and over my dead body they take away my fucking guns but that’s where this is headed. It’s a slippery slope and the masks are the start. What health problem will they tackle next? Obesity, diabetes, heart disease. Oh hey gimme that cigarette or vape, and certainly weed is a “killer” so get rid of it. I could go on and on all night. The point is, The mask mandate is commie bullshit and people should be protesting that if they want any freedom of choice in the future.

I've been challenging persons who defend masks to the following:

Wear a mask Non-Stop for 9 hours a day, 5 days a week, for 2 months in a dynamic setting where you are standing, moving around, and talking all day (basically, what you are asking of retail, restaurant, hospitality, grocery, airline workers).

Then come back, and we'll talk. 99.9% of people couldn't even last 1 day.

1in1024th -1 points ago +1 / -2

I used to work a job where wearing respirators in 110 degree heat for several hours was common.

An N95 is a cakewalk by comparison

Now is anyone going to really give a fuck about wearing a mask for a 12 hour shift after a few weeks? No. Nobody is gonna follow that.

1
DrainNIH 1 point ago +1 / -0

Then go get a job in restaurant, hospitality, retail, grocery, or the airlines for near minimum wage, and let us know how happy you are.

I bet your 110 degree respirator job paid you far more.

Ironically, the people Lefties claim they are trying to help, minorities and POC, are often the ones most affected by this mask bullshit.
